This is probably a stupid questions but I haven't seen a good explanation yet. What are the advantages of a conical fermentor? Are they really worth the cost?

Amateur hour or not, I'd love to hit up the bars tomorrow for some cold beers and car-bombs. Unfortunately, my professors have seen fit to schedule my second to last med school exam for Thursday, so I'll be studying. Someone for the love of all things good, have a cold beer for me.

Aren't the Avery labels pretty flimsy. I thought I read somewhere that a good water soak and they pop off and the glue on the back is pretty weak. Especially compared to the commercially used stuff that's designed to stay on regardless.

That Sanyo 4912 conversations looks incredible. Definitely something I'd be ok having in the main room of the house and not tucked away in the basement.
