    3 Keezer Pre-Construction Questions

Hi there, I had a couple questions I thought people with more experience might be able to chime in on. 1. I am planning on using 2x6s for collar and would like to stain the completed collar before I attach it to the freezer. Should I leave the bottom part unstained to facilitate better...

    overnight force carb?

Apparently the party agreed last night, the entire keg was empty before the end of the cotton bowl, I will for sure be making the caribou slobber again

    overnight force carb?

just tried the first pour and it came out great, no sediment in there either. The foam head looks perfect.

    overnight force carb?

I already poured out the first glass when i got back in case it had sediment in and it seemed fine. I went ahead and gave it some shakes and then turned it up to 30 psi. Ill move it back to 12 and purge before serving this afternoon, hopefully it gets a little bit of a carb from that

    overnight force carb?

what about shaking it around a little bit at 12psi? is there a point c02 will stop pumping in if the beer starts to hold carbonation?

    overnight force carb?

I left my beer to age in a keg for the last two weeks but left the co2 off... A friend over here thought it tasted fine but to me its still pretty flat. Is there any way to force carb over night or should i just leave it at 12 psi and not worry about it. It is going to be served tomorrow.

First batch of caribou slobber, is looks a little off color to me

well i'm going to order a burner next week and hopefully that solves my boiling issue. I'm going to keg this stuff next week and let it sit there at 10psi in the fridge for another 2 weeks and then give it a test.

First batch of caribou slobber, is looks a little off color to me

Extract, and I was a little worried because it took forever to get to a boil

First batch of caribou slobber, is looks a little off color to me

I shined a light on it earlier today since it really is pitch dark in this closet and it looked a little green. Is this how its supposed to look?. I know the temperature is a little low but it has been done fermenting for several days. I opened up the door to let it get back up into the 65-70...

First brew, nb caribou slobber extract question

I can put It in the keg after 2 weeks in primary, should I let it carb up slowly around 10psi or just leave it sealed at room temp?

First brew, nb caribou slobber extract question

Well in two weeks I have to take of for another two weeks so would it be better to leave it in primary or switch it over to secondary for a couple weeks.

First brew, nb caribou slobber extract question

Just did my first kit, and I'm seeing conflicting information on whether to move it to secondary after fermentation is complete, after a few weeks, or just leaving it in primary for a month and letting it slowly carb up in a keg for a few weeks after

    Returning to Brewing/Keg storage question

The idea behind keeping them in the keezer is so that they are all cooled and carbed in case me or anyone else feels the need to "sample" anything :) I move again in a year or so and at that point I will most definitely be installing 6 taps on the system rather than using a 3 tap kegerator. At...

    Returning to Brewing/Keg storage question

I'll add in a couple pc fans and see if I can track down that dehumidifier. The only lines going in and out will be temp probe, and then the lines for a pc fan now. If there is something in the keezer that absolutely has to be sampled before there is room in the actual kegerator then I will...

    Returning to Brewing/Keg storage question

I brewed a few batches of extract a few years ago but stopped because..well we never had anywhere to put all the bottles. Now that I've moved to a bigger house I've been staring at a deep freezer I never use and decided to start brewing again. I will be using a commercially made three tap...
