Upright Keezer, 8 taps, 11 kegs

Yeah, I will definitely use a set to make my CO2 and Beer Gas tanks detachable from the outside. Ben

What would these be needed for? I did get the elbow tail pieces for the shanks. Agreed, but that would be pretty easy to test out. Also, I doubt there would be any more disturbance caused than connecting these to a Corny disconnect or shank tail piece a lot of those are 1/4" barbs. Why...

Has anyone thought about using Disconnects for their lines, so when not in use they can be removed? It would also make it easier to hook up their kegs outside, and than put them in? The come in valved and nonvalved, if you wish to prevent leaking. I ran the numbers and I can outfit my 11...

    Intarsia tap handle

I found this thread from the bar show off thread, quite impressive work! I thought it might have been intarsia when I saw the first picture, but the detail pictures are even better! Being a woodworker, I can only imagine the work that went into those. $100 a piece was quite a steal! Ben

Be careful lifting the Sanke in and out. This one was empty and I guess I didn't lift it high enough when putting it in and and cracked the plastic on the front lip. I am thinking a piece of Aluminum channel will prevent that from happening again...

Upright Keezer, 8 taps, 11 kegs

Does anyone see the need to utilize the frost-free function in these freezers? I started working on mine last night (model newer than the OPs) and am planning in bypassing the computer altogether. The coils could freeze condensation temporarily while cooling, but it isn't like I will ever keep...

    Fruit Beer Lemon-Lime Hefe Weizen

For the most part, I will admit I forgot the lime zest and swapped in some Rose's Lime Juice in a moment of haste...lol

    Fruit Beer Lemon-Lime Hefe Weizen

Interesting opinions about the Grapefruit version. I brewed a 10G batch and put half on Limeaid and the other on Grapefruit. Most of the people that have had it prefer the Grapefruit as it has a refreshing tartness to it. The Limeaid is fairly sweet. Nonetheless, both great brews! Ben

Where to get Beer Gas in Greenville?

In Charleston or Greenville? I just heard back from Air Gas. $112 for a tank and fill, $33 for a refill. No exchanges, and it must be a tank you bought from them that they fill. They don't fill on site, it comes from Charlotte. Seems they know they are the only show in town... Ben

Where to get Beer Gas in Greenville?

Any suggestions on where to get a tank of Beer Gas in Greenville? I called Air Gas today and they never called me back. I am looking to exchange a spare CO2 tank for a Beer Gas tank, or preferably a place that would fill my CO2 tank with Beer Gas. Thanks, Ben

MM2 Mill powered with Garage Door Opener?

Has anyone used a 3PH motor with a VFD to regulate the speed? Would be very easy to implement and I have all the parts already in my woodworking shop. http://youtu.be/5jVr03ujj8k That might be above most people (the VFD would be around $200) but it is fairly common in the tool world to...

    $10 per Month Unlimited Propane

Sorry guys, forgot to update this thread! Needless to say, the deal is a ripoff. I guess the old adage of too good to be true applied. The guy gets to my house and was preparing to install the tank, when I asked how I could remove it from my grill and attach it to my turkey fryer. He...

    $10 per Month Unlimited Propane

I brew twice a month, 10 gallon all grain batches, and burn through 2 20# tanks, this is money in the bank for me! And not having to deal with freezing a tank will be awesome. Ben

    $10 per Month Unlimited Propane

Just an FYI, but Blossman Propane is offering a $10/month "Endless Grilling" package. For $30 they install a 100# tank to your grill and offer unlimited use for $10/month. My install is happening tomorrow. I am super excited as my Banjo burner constantly freezes the smaller 20# tanks... I...

A bit off topic, but is this your tool chest in the background? I just picked up one like it from CL, I wouldn't mind seeing a better picture... Here is mine:
