Why not just regulate the co2 down to below 50psi before the adapter? The internal reg is going to step it down to 15psi anyway. The only reason the cylinders are that high is for volume.

I boil my make up water and use my IC in it just like wort to speed the process. It takes 25 minutes at most for 4 gallons. If you want to do it real easy, just boil it the night before and let it cool on the burner.

I kill the burner right as I dump the hops. I find that the bubbles from the boil are excited by the hops. They sort of foam for a few seconds. I stir them in real quick and light it back. It's off boil maybe 20 seconds, but it helps a lot.

Fill your tub with water. If you loose water pressure, use a gallon pitcher to flush the toilet by dumping it in the bowl. I'm a Louisiana native. As Long as your home is ok, the worst is just losing power for a few days and being hot and bored. Fill up your gastank too. It shouldn't be too bad...

I have good hop utilization with a hop bag. I use fermcap too, so I sometimes get too much if there is such a thing. I do dunk the bag with my spoon about every five minutes and give it a stir.

My first batch was on an electric stove and I couldn't get a boil for a long time. I didn't know about DMS and left the lid on to help it boil. It tastes like grass now. DMS is defenitly still an issue. I even shook the condensate off the lid into the pot. *doh!*

I do a 4 gallon boil and use about 2lbs per batch. Take the empty weight off the tank handle, measure the tank with a scale, and then do a brew and measure again. You'll have a good idea how many batches you can get.

I like my Hobart handler 140 I got from Northern Tool. It's a very good machine for the money, and comes with everything but a bottle. It has paid for itself many times over.

We use those at my plant for portable eye wash and shower stations. The just have a wand on one port and a eye shower on the other, and charge them with air.

I use a hop bag. My OG sample blew my hair off from the hops last time. :drunk:

If they drag their feet, let me know. I can measure a couple here at work with calipers.
