When Trying to arrange the PIDs and the other temp displays it kept deleting instead of rearranging. Pretty minor but annoying. There may already be a fix for this but I haven't updated because I do not know how yet! :) I'm only messing around with it without using Internet at the moment though...

When it crashes do the elements turn off? Where are your probes located in your system?

I received my Hosehead on Friday! I still need to buy more fittings and such. With the holidays here I have been put on hold for the time being! :)

What size herms coil are you all using? I have 15 gallon Tall Boys. Do I want a 50' coil or a 25' coil? What diameter of coil should I use? I'll be brewing both 5 and 10 gallon batches. I know I can find this stuff elsewhere, I would just like to see what all of you are using with this system.

I have the advantco 3500 watt unit that you have. How well does your probe hack keep the temps. I'm also waiting for the hosehead brewery controller to arrive. Are you going to use the pi to control the advantco?

I would not think it would work. I have an advantco 3500 watt induction unit. you would need to physically touch the on button each time the Hosehead turned the induction unit off which would defeat the purpose of an automated system. Unless you found a unit that stays in the on position even if...

I Did receive the Keg-Skin. They are going through a transition of some type and have been slow on orders from what I have been told. The Keg-Skin is made very well. I'm happy with the purchase.
