I built my control panel identical to the one found on www.theelectricbrewery.com. It is based on 220v, but you can find plenty of ideas on what is possible even at the 120v you are looking to run IMO.

Here is what I am thinking of doing. Again based on what I have seen at theelectricbrewery.com. I am going to use the styrofoam insulation to build a hood, I will probably reinforce it some how with plywood. Then I will cover it with the plastic shower board. this seems to be a lot cheaper...

Yes! I had to re order the 2 yellow lights since I ordered the 120V ones. They would work, but I think its safer to use the 220V version so I know that both legs are off/on. I knew I would goof on an order somewhere, no project can go perfectly smooth!

One last picture here... Gonna start wiring this thing up, but layed out the controls so I can stare at how cool it looks!

Control Panel is taking shape. Have the holes cut out for the controls and the first primer coat on. Will post some images here. Gonna see where to put this build on the site so others may follow.

I am in the same exact boat...items are rolling in from China everyday. I made a mistake and need to order a couple more items. But the box and parts are laying on my floor (waiting for wife to yell). I just want to wire her up!

Kal, your site was the catalyst for me to finish my system. I have an electric kettle and HLT that I love but no automation. I just purchased all the parts for the control panel you described (quite well to be exactly). I plan to build the panel exactly the same as to not recreate the wheel...

Thanks for that info Walker, thats what I am going to do with my system. I have been going back and forth trying to figure out the best way to do all this.
