Now I can't get this out of my head:

12 Beers of Christmas 2020 Edition

Yep, a good time to say thanks to TBC and Cheers to all!
  3. jack13

12 Beers of Christmas 2020 Edition

And to follow that up, TBC, as the person who organized this year's exchange... Rather than putting up a post about this to the broader community with all the slots blank, what do you think about beginning with one to the people who did this year's exchange? So just to clarify what I'm saying...

12 Beers of Christmas 2020 Edition

Not to beat a dead horse, but any calamity short of being dead and I'm taking the computer out of my pocket, jumping on HBT and typing "Sorry all, I can't do the beer exchange". 30 seconds. Tops. Regardless, I wonder if we could just add a single check-in at some point. Maybe do the...

Time to change the Picnic Facuet???

Nothing...I just go right into the keg like in Biermeisters photos. I really just use it for tasting something I'm cold crashing in a chest freezer...and a couple times for parties. I usually use a regular keezer setup to dispense.

    New To Kegging

Adding to what Jag said , figure out how many taps then add 1, then add another 1.

Time to change the Picnic Facuet???

You can do a faucet right into the keg, for example: https://www.morebeer.com/products/faucet-quick-disconnect-assembly-ball-lock.html

    Bottles don't feel properly capped.

Do they also look like they're not crimped all the way? I'm curious what made you see if you could twist the caps in the first place. Regardless of anything else, as far as the oxidation you brought up: I'd say keeping the beer in their current bottles and fixing the cap problem is less...

    New To Kegging

There are two taps but one of the pictures shows 3 kegs in it, which means you could fit the CO2 tank inside if you wanted to. Depending on where you have it that could be an advantage. The other thing is that everything appears to be included,. At $1,545 you could do better on cost, though...

12 Beers of Christmas 2020 Edition

Just dropped boxes off at UPS! I'll pass along the tracking numbers.

12 Beers of Christmas 2020 Edition

I think we are using the same boxes. I'm going to try to wrap them in bubble wrap. I've got some that's thin enough that should still allow the bottles to fit. And if I run out I'll improvise. Well that's the plan at least.
