    What are you drinking now?

I really like Fremont's Summer Ale, but the Spring Seasonal is not impressive.

    Citra/El-Dorado IIPA?

Bobbrews, my plan is to use Apollo early and mid boil and possibly even late. I wanted to check with the OP to see how Citra and El Dorado worked together. I have used them both in SMASH IPAs and found them both very assertive, so I wanted to check to see how the two worked together in order...

    Citra/El-Dorado IIPA?

Did you end up brewing this? I was thinking of doing something similar. Thanks.

What came in the mail for you today?

I really wanted to go with a 12 gallon batch of a basic saison and split it between the Brasserie and Single Strain to see how the two compare. But, I don't have two brewbelts, and my house isn't quite warm enough yet to let them stay at ambient temperature. So, I'm going to go with the...

What came in the mail for you today?

Got my shipment of East Coast Yeast from love2brew: Bug Farm VI, Saison Brasserie Blend, Saison - Single Strain, Farmhouse Brett, and Old Newark Ale. Now I just need to figure out what to brew next.

Am i the only one that hates sours?

I'm not a big fan of sours either, but I do enjoy a nice tart sour every once in a while. If you are looking for an entry level sour, I think Bell's Oarsman is a good starting point. A lot don't like it, but I find it a nice refreshing beer. Also, it, because of its tartness, and Boulevard's...

    What are you drinking now?

Ska Nefarious Ten Pin Imperial Porter on a brisk brew day morning here in Indiana. I was looking forward to trying this, but am disappointed. It has a strange syrupy sweetness to it that I don't like. Oh well. Maybe I'll hit on of my 2010 Fifty-Fifty's next.

    What are you drinking now?

Double Jack. One of my favorites.

    What are you drinking now?

Fremont Summer Ale. A little out of season, but a darn good example of a commercial SMASH. 2-Row and Amarillo.

What I did for beer today

Racked my Big Hoppa IIPA off 9.5 oz of dry hops and into a keg.

    What are you drinking now?

Hangar 24 Double IPA. Very piney. Needs some more citrus for my taste, but not terrible.

What I did for beer today

Brewed a Popcorn Pils, cultivated some Conan, removed straw from hop bed, and prepared hop bed for its two newest residents: centennial and chinook.

    What are you drinking now?

Huge win. Especially when you consider what it took to get 4 cans to Indiana.
