I just got three kegs on craigslist. couldn't get em to seal with pressure at first. If I pull up on the lid then pressurize it seems to work out just fine tho.

taste the honey... It will have a slight orangey-ness. whatever flavors the honey has by itself is what it will add to the final product. But milder. That would give you a feel for how much orange flavor the honey can give.

Found this one on Craigslist for $150. Bought my corny and new hosing and connector last week. Serving up my Red Ale now! I think i am going to add another tap or 2 to the side. Figure i'll be able to fit 3-4 cornies in there if i move the CO2 outside.

I tried an overnight soak in CLR and it didn't touch my Red Stripe bottles. Maybe i'll buy some starsan and give it a try.

i was thinking of a habanero lager. But rather than a heavy beer, something light. Get kind of a refreshing summer heat. Just using the fruit and not the seeds would keep it from being too hot.

i am growing my own hops, so not using pellets. Also the tea ball i found is about 4 inches across, so pretty big.

Any thoughts on containing hops inside of a mesh tea ball(stainless steel) when boiling them?

I planted my Goldings and Northern Brewers rizhomes a week ago. They are about 2 inches tall at the moment. Didn't figure i would get a crop this year anyways.
