    Well if it's a noticeable difference in the time it takes to heat the wort or strike water then it's worth the minimal investment, If not then it's not.

    making a arley wine can i make another beer from...

    So I am going to make a barley wine, have not settled on a recipe. my question is can I make another obviously lighter beer from the 2nd and third runnings? just seems like a lot of grain for only one beer. Any input is appreciated I average about 80% efficiency with my brew house.

    hey you beat me to it. yes it will hold two cornies and a 5 lb tank. it's a tight fit but the pic above shows what needed. I painted the inside of mine black and put caster on the bottom.

    I have known more than one fellow diver(including myself) who's dove bad gas from dive shop's compressors who's intake were to close to co and co2 emision sources. headache, blackout and or death are usually the result. Be safe.

    i'm usually using a carboy or keg when im using the autosyohon so i stick it in the keg or auto syphon and pump it a few times then just let it sit for at least 5mn. then use it.
