Well if it's a noticeable difference in the time it takes to heat the wort or strike water then it's worth the minimal investment, If not then it's not.

I currently have the SP10 style burner although mine is quite old at this point it still looks and works nicely. would there be any benifit to changing the burner out to the type that's in the SP14...

So I am going to make a barley wine, have not settled on a recipe. my question is can I make another obviously lighter beer from the 2nd and third runnings? just seems like a lot of grain for only one beer. Any input is appreciated I average about 80% efficiency with my brew house.

I have known more than one fellow diver(including myself) who's dove bad gas from dive shop's compressors who's intake were to close to co and co2 emision sources. headache, blackout and or death are usually the result. Be safe.
