    You still buy Beer

Home brewing has driven my store bought beer through the roof haha not slowed it down. It is research. There are too many styles out there and Id be arrogant to think I could just come up with good recipes for all of them on my own. Why experiment a few hundred times of wasted grain when there's...

So I couldn't really go anywhere if I wanted to. So I figured I'd start this up. Like the title says- I'm assuming you guys stocked up (or brewed...

Wellll rated at 250 doesn't mean that's really all it can hold haha it's more of a recommendation. Building a 1bbl for $1600

Took an AV cart for 10 bucks on craigslist and drilled a hole in the top. I used tin snips or flight sheers w.e you call them cut a hole big enough to drop an old turkey fryer burner I had laying around in it. A buffer wheel on a drill and automotive body work kit smoothed it all out. Then, some...

    Burlington County

There is one in Columbus farmer's market on 206 between Eastampton and Bordentown. They are ok in a pinch. I will go up there when I realise oh crap, I forgot to order something, but it is VERY small and the staff isn't that knowledgeable (I think the owners kid runs it and doesn't seem that...

I used to live in Sea Isle City, when I did that was exactly where I went. Tap-It is top notch no doubt about it. Shawn and the Brew Jersey club were a really great group. If I didn't move so far from there I would have kept going to their meetings.

:-( damn why was I talked into an expensive refractometer... it is only good for OG? I guess the good news is my cider probably actually turned out hmmm and so 1.040 is 40 points x .131 = 5.2% abv? (thats assuming it actually went to zero seeing as now I need to go buy a hydrometer... mine...
