    Old Kit, Still usable?

    Ive used some old LME before and WAS NOT Pleased with the results. I would say the DME would offer better results. (If you want to break out the hammer and chisel.)

    The Extract will be darker, and will also have a stronger extract finish. I suggest IF you use it to up your hop bill pretty high. The yeast can be tested with a starter. The corn sugar should be fine. Throw the hops away.

    Sacrifice the few beers at the bottom of the primary and you should be fine, but next time, don't break glass in your beer!

    Pour the mix into the bucket, and place your hose in the bucket in a fasion that it creates a swirling effect. There should be no reason to stir.

    1,000 bottles of beer on the wall...

    you should start with heavy beers that need more time, like a barley wine. This will help to keep you from drinking them. progress down so they will all be ready at the same time. (and keep brewing some house brew to satisfy your needs, of course)
