It's worked well for me both times. Would like to try s04 to see what taste difference would be but this stuff never hangs in keg long enough.

I left in primary for 10 days around 70 the whole time. Pitched 1500ml starter. First time I made it I got down that far as well.

Moved this to secondary yesterday for dry hop. Got it down to 1.008 for a abv of 7. Taste is just fantastic. Had a few friends taste the sample and they said they liked to mix of mo and pale malt. Thanks for great recipe.

Well I have to say turned this one over in 16 days from brew day to drinking and draining the keg for my son birthday was a huge hit with both sides of family. Thanks for a great beer. I'll be doing this again for sure.

Just kegged and bottled this yesterday wow great flavor. Big coffee notes with a chocolate finish that is just tell you to take another gulp. A few months in the keg should make this just incredible. I am not putting hazelnut in as I couldn't find it for one and the other think this one stands...

Brewed this up yesterday with 50/50 2 row, MO. Hit 1.066 so I was happy. Got temp down to 68 threw in 1500 ml of wlp001 as I know I won't have my house cold enough to keep it in 60s range. Its bubbling away nicely now. Can't wait to drink this again last keg was gone in no time.

Thanks for the quick reply. Doing five gallons for my son birthday part in 17 days just wanted to make sure I could make it that time for a kegged batch.

Just poured a glass of this out of keg and all I can say is wow what a damn good beer! I'll be doing this again ag version now that I got my self sent up for it. Anyone one try this with MO? Never used it just wondered what the difference would be.

Alright I need some input. Brewed this today and my of was 1.046. Temp on my mash was spot on 149. 75 min check temp was 147.6. Grain was 11 lbs 2row 2 lbs vienna 12 oz crystal 20 8 oz cara-pils Batch sparge with 1.34 gal 170 three times with 10 min rest for each Boil was 60 min but still...

Just got this in secondary with dry hops. Oh WOW does this taste good. Yeast did great job 1.008. This is going to be difficult to wait for.

Huh I'm new to brewing only my 7th batch. Yeast is still new animal. Used two different yeast on 2 batches of same American pale that made made. Looking forward to see what the difference is in taste.

Ok going to do this as my first AG this weekend. Heading to LHBS this afternoon to get everything. One question I have is which yeast? I've read back a few pages and seen 1056 1272 wl051 us-05. Anyone give me I hint?
