    Can these keggles be fixed?

I know its an old post but this problem has come up for me too. Damn welders, i even asked him to backgas it. Is there another option to seal the bad weld? Cant say for sure its going to be easy to get in there and grind it smooth. Maby an epoxy seal over it would slow the oxygen damage?

Need a grinder Primarily for TIG grinding.

I don't have any power grinders right now besides a 4.5 inch angle grinder. I need something to sharpen my TIG tungstens a bit better. The common answer would be to get a 6" bench grinder. But as I like to think outside the box I have seen that belt sanders can also be used with good...

And i was all excited - o2 tank

I am reading that you need a RX to get the medical tank filled. I could try talking to my guy at airgas. but I think the regulators are different for welding stuff?

Home theater room treatment (bass response)

Yuri, what did you use to apply the parametric curves once you had them designed? I have heard of using the Behringer feedback destroyer as an Sub EQ. But this stuff is new to me. I would have thought it would be easier to change the audio profile coming off the computer itself. I've...

Home theater room treatment (bass response)

This post has me thinking now. My system is lower even than you have. Tx-sr605,Cerwin-Vega ls12 mains with a 15 inch vega sub. Center is matched vega and random bookshelf speakers surround. Small square room w/ curtains all around. I know its Vega stuff, but bass resonates bad in the room...

Alaska keezer build... My first attempt

It looks like you have some good space between the freezers walls and the wood wall. Make sure there is a way to vent the hot air. A chest freezers skin needs to breath to dissipate the heat. nice woodworking!

    question on pump placement

After pricing out the stainless comp fittings and tubing I'm starting to think silicone is the way to go. some of those fittings run $40+ not to mention the problems of bending the stainless and clean out after... The pros are not outweighing the Cons for hard lining now that I am looking at...

    question on pump placement

Additionally, I am a bit concerned about these temperature probes in the line. Will the probe being in the flow restrict the flow too much? I have two fittings like this, one exiting the MLT and one exiting the heat exchange.

    question on pump placement

The other problem i'm trying to think thru is cleanup. The outlet of the pump is higher than the inlet so if I put the cleanout valve where it is depicted the water in the leftside of the pump and in the pump head will not make it to the drain valve.... will the pump pull this water over to...

    question on pump placement

This is my general design layout. based on the brewmagic style system. I am a bit worried about the pump placement now that i have read all the issues with horizontal pump placement and priming. my plan was to use water from the HLT to prime the system by opening the HLT valve and opening...
