I got 2 of them and they work pretty well. I would suggest at least burping it once or twice so you don't spray or foam out when you first open the tap.

Just an update, got them all put together minus the labels. Looking pretty good for as cheap as they were to put together!

Something similar to this.... I have ball lock kegs and the rubber portion of them at the top is 22" high. Thinking of making an insulated box that is 22" high and then an insulated lid with 8.5" holes to fit snug around the kegs and then I can connect my co2 and snap tap and have a bar type...

It's the leading choice right now but not quite what I have pictured in my head. Wanted to see if anyone has anything made to similar to what I am thinking and if they have any pointers on the build itself...

From what Ive read from other fellow beer shippers, USPS is the way to go where they will still deliver the package after something has broke and leaked like Mex's. FedEx or UPS will 'dispose' of the package instead of letting you decide whats salvageable. I guess they all say its a no...

That's what I was trying last night and I stopped. I haven't put one all the way in yet. I'll have to try this later tonight to see if it makes a difference. I used a drill press for the holes to try and get them as straight as possible.

Just an update, this is one of the 4 I have made up this weekend. The tap inserts are a real PITA to get in so far. I'm thinking about getting a 3/8" nut to try to run them in with a driver. So far I'm pretty happy with the results.

Yep! I was going to make 3 for an upcoming brewing even and with the 4th since I have 2 spindles just make a chalkboard one or maybe just make a plain, no plaque just a handle.
