Oh man did I travel back to 2005.

Drinking a black double IPA right now :D Went to the the usual shop and noticed there weren't even too many IPAs. It's a small shop but the majority of brews are some sort of dark beers i.e flavoured stouts, coffee porters/stouts or barrel aged/barleywines.

Beer was brewed for Mastodon and I love them so why not.

Testing out some of my very first homebrew. Just a simple pale ale. Tastes like a sierra nevada so that's good. A tad cloudy but a 3rd week of bottle conditions should clear it up(I think?). We got some snow and tons of sleet last week. This week it'll be 60+. Lovely

I always thought IPA is what "started" the whole craft brewing thing. If there was any "craze" now I would say that would be barrel aged beers. Which I don't mind because those are my favorite.

Got about another week or so until my first homebrew is ready to drink. Think I may do a match of mead before another brew.

Didn't want to go to the beer store so I just picked up a Sierra Nevada IPA variety pack. This ones like a Guinness stout but not so thin and watery. Excuse the dirty everything

It being expensive is her only valid criticism. But high quality anything is going to cost more than cheap ****. Let's put an end to all restaurants that aren't taco bell, kfc, mcdonalds etc... Also the only bars I've been to that only serve craft beer are those little dingey ones AT...

Fourth Sierra Nevada Hop Hunter. Like the oiliness, dislike the extreme lack of hop taste. Had a Big Bad baptist from Epic Brewing earlier. Just way too overpowering coffee/cocoa flavours, that completely hid the barrel ageing.
