    Manifold question

I'm sure its been done. The smaller holes you use the better probably... you'll just need more of them. Too big and they'll allow grain particles through.

    Burner: How does this look?

I bought that exact one a few weeks ago, the burner is 85,000 BTU and works pretty decent.. the pot is too small if you're planning on doing 23L batches though (5 IMP gallons). I split my boil and still managed to boil it over a bit (first AG hehe). I've found a few larger pots... Russel Food...

    No Sparge?

Thanks, I figured there had to be some draw backs. Looks like I'll start off with batch sparging and see how that goes.

    Real quick extract kit question

The kits I've done so far are pretty much already brewed. They're 7.5 right up to 23 litres of wort in a bag. You just add water and yeast to the smaller ones and just yeast to the large ones.

    Real quick extract kit question

Hi there, I've done a few of the liquid wort kits and they've turned out alright. I'm going to try an extract kit now though. My question is if I use a hopped extract kit should I still boil the wort before pitching the yeast, or will this cause a loss of flavor/aroma?
