Yup, nothin on it at the moment.

    The amazing collapsible braid

I've read somewhere here on HBT that the larger diameter SS braids for hot water tanks are more resistant to collapsing. Any truth to that?

    15.5 gal Sanke kegs

Anyone know of a supplier of these that would ship to Canada or that is located in Canada? I'm having trouble finding anything other than Sabco. Thanks! Nick

    4 Popular Brew Kettles Compared

I dunno, just peace of mind I guess. Aluminum gives better heat distribution than SS and the thick bottoms just make me feel as if I'm using a piece of serious equipment. It's based on nothing really other than purely superficial things. It makes me feel good. lol.

    4 Popular Brew Kettles Compared

For what it's worth, I have a 10 gallon Megapot and am probably going to get a 15 gallon Megapot for Christmas so I can do 10 gallon batches. I like them. They're a bit wide, but they are tough as nails, they look great and I really like the thick aluminum clad bottoms.

    Foaming Issue! Help!

Sorry to butt in, but doesn't 10 feet of line seem excessive? Mine are 4.5' and I only have foam issues when the beer is room temperature. Once it's chilled fully in my fridge it's fine...in fact I wish I could get MORE foam, lol!

Maybe something wrong with my regulator?

Just got word from Ontario Beer Kegs and they're sending me a new regulator. Great customer service on their part, I must say. *fingers crossed the new one works*

Maybe something wrong with my regulator?

mattd2, here's a link to the regulator I have, if that helps at all. http://www.ontariobeerkegs.com/product_p/dual%20guage%20reg.htm :mug: Nick

    Noob kegging PSI question

Thanks for that. My lines are 4.5 feet long...that's pretty standard, isn't it?

I'll post some photos tonight after I get home from work. Thanks for your help so far.

    Noob kegging PSI question

OK, cool, thanks guys. Now I just need to figure out what the heck is wrong with my regulator.
  12. CanadianQuaffer

Maybe something wrong with my regulator?

Well, I just tried the clearing procedure...dunno if I was doing it right, but it ddin't work. PSI still climbs even when the dial is turned all the way to the "-" position, so I may need a better quality regulator, I dunno. In the meant time I guess I'll just have to set it at the dispensing...

    Noob kegging PSI question

Hey all, OK, so I've read, and experienced, that 10-12 PSI is a good level to set your kegs at for carbonation. However, I've also read that 5ish PSI is ideal for dispensing... Wouldn't the keg, once carbed at 12 PSI and left so sit afterwards at 5 PSI for serving lose carbonation after a...

    Show us your Kegerator

Here's mine, just finished it today. She's nothing special, but I love her already! The last pic is my first pour of a Pumpkim Ale I kegged a few weeks ago. I think I already might need a new regulator and might look into a Perlick tap tower, I've heard so many good things about them...

Maybe something wrong with my regulator?

Nope, just checked the regulators at Midwest and they're not the same as mine. Are they known to have issues?
  16. CanadianQuaffer

Maybe something wrong with my regulator?

I dunno who makes it, but I got it from Ontario Beer Kegs here in Canada...the knob for the valve that controls the pressure in the keg is a round dial, red, about as big around as a quarter with a +/- labelled on it. Feels really cheap. I'll try the clearing procedure you guys recommended...

Maybe something wrong with my regulator?

Thanks day trippr....just tried that and to no avail...pressure still keeps climbing. I just need to figure out if it's my set up or my regulator that's responsible. The regularot is kind of cheap...the control valve/knob that sets the PSI in the keg just feels really cheap...there seems to be...

Maybe something wrong with my regulator?

Hey everybody, Got my kegerator conversion done today, finally! Pics to follow soon. However, for now it seems I might have a slight issue with my regulator. It never used to to this and just started today when I hooked it up to a keg full of StarSan to clean the lines. The guage that...
