If you are building your own panel and intend on running two elements simultaneously, I suggest making sure there is adequate air flow internally for cooling. If it gets too hot inside the panel you will risk premature failure of some of your electrical parts.

I like using the smaller barrels and recharge them with bourbon after each use.

Just to keep this in the thread... just found my leak and surprisingly my new gauge... both dials and the pressure relief valve leaked!

My last leak had multiple ones. The realtor had a loose PRV and loose gauge... always check even if they are new!

For my set up I had to use a bungee cord across the top.

With my closed system I don't have any water waste. I have Pex tubing in the ground connected to a cooler and a pump.

If your boil is off, you might want to calibrate your PIDs temp readings, especially if it is a new set up.
