    Fermentation Chiller

Awesome - Thanks for the update. Also - I think in your pic's you have some steel pipe or something that raises the ice-bottles up. I was thinking some 1/2 inch pvc and a X adapter, stick 4 pieces of the PVC and you got a nice plastic (non rusting :) ) stand for the ice bottles. Kilroy

so what's the deal with aluminum?

I have heard that "Raw/Un-Tarnished" Aluminium is toxic, but that it also oxidizes very quickly, once it is oxidized, (the state of most AL in the world unless polished daily) it is safe to use. The oxidization puts a nice protective "rust" that keeps the nasties out. Like I said - this is...

    Fermentation Chiller

One Question I do have though, is the airflow. Looking at the pic's and the diagrams, I can see the cut outs, and one of them has a fan - no prob there. The other side though is sealed by the lid, and there does not seem to be anywhere to pull the heated air over the other ice bottle...

    Wine Shipping Law News

That is indeed some good news :) Now a question on a similar line perhaps. I would like to ship some of my Homebrew wine to South Africa and the UK, from the US. Do you know of any restrictions etc, that I might have to deal with? Thanks Andrew

    Need Info on Equipment, etc...

I have had pretty good Success using Arm & Hammer Washing Soda. NOTE: Washing Soda, NOT Detergent, or baking soda. Put a fair to good amount in the bathtub, and fill it up with hot water, soak your bottles there 4 hours or so, and the labels for the most part just fall off. Kilroy
