Thanks! Here's another redesign based on more input. I'm still learning all the little photoshop tricks. I'm thinking of adding a stroke effect to the rising sun texture to give it the cel-shaded look.

I brewed Brian Rezac's Chai Ale and I had the same problem. A lot of people that do their primary fermentation in a carboy use a blowoff tube into a bucket of water. I just let it foam and cleaned and replaced the airlock when it stopped. We'll see how it turns out I guess!

I'm just glad I live in Michigan. The boiling pot adds needed warmth -- especially this time of year through May.
