    Cleaning Brass

I was wondering what the best way to clean brass is? I just bought brass pieces for my mash tun and just bought a brass wort chiller. I would like to clean them before I use them. Is PBW the best way to clean them?

    Removing Bottle Labels

Excellent, looks like I'll be picking up some Oxiclean tomorrow. I didn't want to use bleach because I didn't want any of the smell staying on the bottles. If Oxiclean works I'm going with that. Thanks for the help!

    Removing Bottle Labels

What is the best way to remove bottle labels? I've heard two different ways and I want to make sure they are good. Adding Bleach to water and letting them soak for two days or adding Oxy Clean to water and letter them soak for 45 minutes. Would either of these ways work? I just don't...

    I did it!

Man I cannot wait to get my kit so I can start brewing. Stupid holidays! If xmas wasn't around the corner I'd be buying the kit myself but my wife wants to buy it for me.... Good things come to those who wait I guess. Excellent job though man, I can't wait to do the same.

    Mash In and Mash Out

So if it says Mash in 45 Min and Mash out 10 Min. That would me put the first water in for 45 minutes, then after that put the second amount of water in for 10 min. THEN start draining the wort?

    Drinking out of the bottle

You said it Joe, I put my nose right in the glass and take a big sniff everytime. You can't beat that.

    Drinking out of the bottle

If I'm drinking something like Bud then I drink out of the bottle. If I'm drinking better beers then I always pour it in the bottle. I think it's almost like an art pouring the beer in the glass while it's raised to the light. Seeing the beer go in the bottle creating the head. And then...
