Do you need a 1 off Stainless part built for your system? Let's discuss it.

15 Gallon also. Really cool isnt it? This will finish up my MT nicely.

https://imgur.com/a/Xb71tn1 I guess its not so much a true QD, but a pipe being held in by an oring. Its their standard recirc port......and it could be improved on I was just looking for something that would fit into the female end. Some sort of ring for even distribution. I only would need...

Hi Jay, I have a Spike MT with the standard recirc port position. Do you have any sort of sparge ring that would fit its QD style adapter?

    Anomalies with Mash pH Measurements

Never reuse the cal liquid. You can get pretty big bottles of ph4 and ph7 off amazon for pretty cheap. If electrode dries out, its best to replace it. i keep the lid full of water before I cap and store

I need a good (but not too good) whiskey for my Imperial Stout

Ive always used Makers. Cheap enough to where its a non issue, good enough to sip on a nice glass w/ ice for the next day or two. And I always soaked vanilla beans in the whisky too

Lowering mash pH (5.2 stabilizer does not work...)

Sure dude. Go with that Its cheap and allows me to be a little off and not worry about it. Its premixed and works as intended pH meters says so. Data doesnt lie

Lowering mash pH (5.2 stabilizer does not work...)

Its a buffer, its not a one thing fix all. It allows you to be a bit off and bring it back in to specs. Not start high and try and drop 2 points fix your process or water comp if youre not hitting your mash pH, not sure how else to say it.

Lowering mash pH (5.2 stabilizer does not work...)

An entire thread to taking a pH reading? Its actually quite simple, spend a little and get a good meter, or calibrate with the proper lab solution prior to every brewday with the cheaper ones. And 5.2 stabilizer most definitely does indeed work.

Show us your sculpture or brew rig

Getting closer to being completed. This was a used Brutus frame and there is a lot that can be improved on. Maybe next year I'll spring for a nice stainless frame with better burners https://imgur.com/a/XEVXwTj

    Chill Wizard Inspired Pump/Chiller Station

Nice design with the PVC. I did something similar myself but went with a thermo instead of an O2 diffuser. Chillr by Desert_Sky posted Mar 20, 2010 at 8:24 PM

    Pumps, pumps, high heat pumps

Ive run both Chugger and March. Never have had a sinlge issue with either of them. Used them on two Brutus 10 systems and one MoreBeer 2050. Quick disconnects will be a valuable asset on brew day. Hoses and liquid transfer are a huge part of your system

    Immersion Chiller

You doing silver solder or compression fittings? Be sure to post back here with pics If your feeling up to it, I'd do two at once. One stays in an bucket of ice water as a prechiller, the other in your kettle. Hit it with 40° water the whole time. Drop it fast

What I did for beer today

i need a ******* ScrubMaster 3000. I realized today that my procrastination sucks and I need to just go ahead and put one together. Had an pretty intense fermentation from some trappist high gravity yeast and it made an absolute mess inside and out.
