I need a new burner which is best/save my marriage

How would this mount to the SQ14 frame, is it a direct bolt on? The smaller burner has a bottom mount bolt and the 10" one looks like it attaches on the sides. If it is a simple bolt on, then I may have to upgrade.:) Thanks Greg

    Help with SMaSH recipe

Was thinking of an SG around 1.050-1.060 and IBU around 30-40. Don't have a lot of experience with different yeasts so not sure on that:confused:, have used mostly US-05 or Nottingham on most of my beers.

How many kegs do you own?

Have 5, only 1 filled right now but have 3 batches fermenting to try and fill the 3 tap keezer. If I can find a deal on more, would get them.

    Tasting Room Coffin Keezer

The DD214 is the form you get when you leave the military, HD/Lowe's have programs that give veterans/retired/disabled and their families a discount. Other veterans can get the discount on certain holidays.

Even with an IC you will only be able to get it down to the temperature of your groundwater. As far as keeping fermentation temps cool, you could use a swamp cooler with frozen water bottles or wet tshirt with a fan blowing on it.

    Hit all my numbers

I agree being a few points or degrees off is not a big deal in my book and from the good reviews about past batches, it doesn't make bad beer most of the time. But, it does make me feel good knowing that I can occasionally do this right.

    Hit all my numbers

For the first time in 10 all-grain brews, I managed to hit the pre-boil gravity and OG spot on. Also had all the volumes, feels good to finally get it right.:ban: Normally all of my numbers end up a little high, which is no big deal just a little stronger drink.

Free grains, some several years old

Thanks, I was thinking that they would be ok to use. Didn't think about getting some DME in case, that is an excellent idea.

Free grains, some several years old

Had a friend give me some uncrushed specialty grains and a 55lb bag of munich malt type I, they were stored in rubbermaid totes and the specialty grains were in ziplock bags inside the tote. My question is how do I know if they are still good to use other than brewing with them? They still...

    Damn !

Just did a brew where I forgot the OG reading, beersmith gave me a projected FG when I put everything in and reached that in a couple weeks with minimal airlock activity. From my understanding the only thing you won't know without the OG is the ABV, but I could be wrong.

    Another stir plate build

Made this with the thermaltake fan seen in other posts and some spare wood I had laying around. Still need to paint it and maybe put something on the top that has a little more grip.
