One on the left is a Art of Shaving razor. One on the right looks like a Fusion Power or Proglide Power razor that was modified. My group used to be responsible for doing all those special razors. Times have changed.

There is a great forum out there for DE shavers. I can't recall the name now. :(

Marketing nor R&D has ever called them heads. They've always been cartridges. Yea a electric would be called a head I suppose. Yup, P&G acquired them a few years back. I've done some product supply for them in the past. Well for the next few months I'll be finishing up my Product...

The verbage is there for a reason. You don't see "HEADS" on packs of cartridges do you? ;) Dorco? So on their packs they have the claims that they're as good as Gillette? Fusion/Mach 3/Embrace all made in USA. Venus and lesser disposables are made in Mexico, Brazil, Germany, Poland...

Gixxer, agreed. IT's all about time saving. We introduced a low cost razor in India a year or two back that has really been a hit. I don't take offense. Trust me I agree on cost. It's ridiculous but companies are in business to make money. Agreed but to others time is money. It's all...

OK so which of our razors is junk? And which razor do you use that is great? Trust me, if you saw the labs we have and the time we put into our products you'd understand it isn't all about marketing.

IT's been proven a good innovation. The Fusion Proglide is the closest shave in the world, better than any double edge and much closer than any barber shave. Is it for everyone? No. Because not everyone's skin is the same. But based on our test results the Proglide wins. We have...

Which plastic razor are you talking about? The razor is the handle, the cartridge is the part with the blades.

Those are called cartridges. The company is in business to make money. The price also reflects the amount of R&D that is put into them and the equipment they're built on. As someone once said, it's the best shave in the world. You're paying for the best shave on the planet. How many...

Anyone remember this guys brew pub set up?

A few years back there was some pictures floating around of someone who built a english style pub in his garage complete with bar, tables stools, and fermenters in a separate room behind glass. I lost the link to the pictures. If I recall the garage was possibly painted white...

Proper way to transfer from 2ndary to Keg?

Got a picture of your set up? Yea, i pour it through the strainer/cloth and it just drops....thereby inducing oxidation. :( I knew that was wrong. booooo......well that's in the past...that's why I want to do it correctly this time around.

Proper way to transfer from 2ndary to Keg?

In the past I'd either add the priming sugar to the bottom of the keg or mix with water and add to the beer. OR I'd force carbonate with CO2. I think that I've been adding the beer to the keg improperly. What I would do is place a strainer with cheese cloth and then pour the beer into...

Probably messed it up but oh well...

Thanks all. Yea, I waited 14 days per instruction of the kit to ferment. Took the wort into the basement, lifted lid...looked like beer. Added a bit to the Hydrometer holding thing...hydrometer sank to the bottom. :( I tried to siphon it out but I noticed a LOT of silt....so I strained it...

The Witches Brew :: View topic - Wish me luck... Thread from another forum....but this is what is happening with me. Brewed my first batch on Tuesday. I'm hoping I didn't screw it up by doing something very dumb. I sterilized everything before I brewed. BUT, when I learned I didn't...
