There are a lot of VOC contaminants from a normal water hose. Every had a drink from the hose in the summer when it us hot. That special flavor is from the rubber. Much cleaner/safer to use a potable water hose.

You could make a nice big batch of nitrocellulose lacquer if you are into making fireworks. Its a handy binder that is usually made by dissolving some ping pong balls in acetone.

Im pretty partial to this for most uses But for all other uses definately the Sambal Oelek Chili Sauce. The Siracha is ok but the garlic is too strong for me usually. I really like the vinegary sauces the best usually.

Im a reader. I can get a lot of catch up reading done during mash and the boil. I tend to brew by myself most always so I really enjoy sitting in the backyard with the dogs running about with a brew and a book and a full mash tun.
