    Plate Chiller In Ice Water?

Thank you for the advice! So to back flush, I was thinking that I would just boil some water in my BK after cleaning it out and pump it through in the opposite direction of the wort chilling. Is that the correct way to do it?

    Plate Chiller In Ice Water?

Hi, I'm expecting delivery of a 40-plate chiller today and was wondering if submerging it in an ice water bath during recirculation would have any affect on reducing cooling times. I figured that combining the functionality of a pre-chiller and a plate chiller in one device would be cool...

6 -8 Kegs, What size keezer do I need?

That is a great idea. Had me looking at CL for a 20 cu. ft. freezer before I remembered I didn't need or want eight taps. :P

    5500W E-BIAB Build finally finished

Hey, if you have time, could you throw up a parts list/breakdown? Thanks! EDIT: Also, how do you sparge a biab that large? I am about to pull the trigger on a 20 gallon vessel and don't understand how you could sparge that large of a bag over a kettle.

You'll also want a heavy duty bobber on that thing. Those plastic ones tend to break pretty easy. I'm sure you'll have spares lying around, though. Also, a muffler would be a cheap insurance policy.

In it for the long haul. That's pretty dry, but racking it over fruit in 1 1/2 years will fix that.

Need Help Locating a Replacement Regulator Washer

How does that thing work exactly? Their image is pretty craptastic. Once Upon A Cross is a great song by the way. EDIT: Figured it out thanks to the power of Google. Thanks for the help again, Deicide.

Need Help Locating a Replacement Regulator Washer

Hi, I bought a regulator off of eBay a while back and it's been working well. The problem is, there isn't any identifiable manufacturer on the regulator and it has a non-standard connector. It seems like most regulators have a 1/8" tip that fits into a CO2 tank. The one I bought has a 3/8"...

Another week of solid fermentation. I bet it already tastes different. You planning on having your heady clone at the next meet up? The Fort George clone was quite good, even if it wasn't heady topper. Cheers!
