    Santa Rosa CL find

It's a great deal if you can catch the guy at the right time, in the right mood, etc. Just warn your friends about that... I understand the guy can get busy but if you tell someone they can come at a specific time you should make sure you are available at that time or at least notify the person.

    Santa Rosa CL find

Sounds like if the guy is in a good mood, happens to be at his shop and isn't too busy reading the newspaper or something he MIGHT actually sell kegs once in awhile...

    Santa Rosa CL find

Myself and a couple of homebrewing buddies from down here in the Los Angeles area tried to buy some kegs from him when one of us was in Santa Rosa and never got the deal worked out. Called, set-up a time to meet and he said no problem, call back at this time, called and no answer. Left...

    Exploring "no chill" brewing

I recently brewed a Belgian Pale with 78% Belgian Pilsner using No-Chill and it came out fine. Just made sure to boil for 90 minutes to help remove DMS, most of my pale ale malt beers only boil for 60. I've done 20+ batches using the No-Chill method and haven't had one go bad yet.

Basement bar w/cold box ideas and build

One option you might have is to use a chest freezer but customize the top as part of the actual bar that opens up to allow access to your kegs. You could even install a tap tower/coffin box on top of that.

    Perlick Group Buy

Jeff, Any update on the faucets? Were you able to pick them up Monday/Tuesday?

    Perlick Group Buy

That is actually one of the best prices I have seen as it includes the SS tailpiece as well. The only price I have seen close is for a 4" SS shank with no tailpiece.

Any ideas for St Patricks Day?

Not sure if you have a dessert on your menu yet of not but I suggest trying this if you like gingerbread at all. Have made it several times and it is probably the best gingerbread I have ever had... Since it uses Guinness as a major ingredient I would think it qualifies for a good St. Patty's...

    Hot wort in better bottle

I use this as well for most of my brewing. Only use my immersion chiller when I have a few kegs to clean and need the hot water anyway...

I'd be down for 4 stainless shanks to go with the 4 faucets I bought if AHS can work us a good deal...

Maybe a PM to each buyer with the amount of tax they owe? Would make a Paypal payment as soon as I know the tax on my eight 525's.

Ball lock quick disconnect (liquid side) No worky!

I have kegs with two different types of posts, one set has the star base where the wrench fits as its gas post and the other set has the one mentioned with the small cut where the wrench fits as its gas post. On both sets the liquid post is the one that looks like a normal straight sided nut...
