    Oskar Blues Dale's Pale...???

I live about 45 minutes from Oskar Blues and have had Dales in every form and location imaginable. It's a malty pale ale with low hop aroma and bitterness for me but it's all relative right? I like their Pinner and GKnight better. I think a lot of their beers tend to the crystal sweetness side.

I like this time at night on HBT

Brewing and watching Mexico get murdered in the Copa. Great night tonight.

    The [Horribly Unpopular] Soccer Thread

I'm hoping Klinsmann throws caution to the wind and puts out a lineup to go at Argentina. We've got nothing to lose and if rather see us go out trying to play they back into a final to be honest.

BIAB type bag for hop additions?

I built s hop spider for about $15 from HD. I do it to maximize the beer in the fermenter. However go read the info on brulosophy about true in the fermenter. Dumping all the funk in has little effect on the final product according to his tests.

Might give up on homebrew :(

You mention you keg, are you serving through a tap of some sort I assume. Are you cleaning your tap lines? All of the suggestions in the other replies are great but I know my tapped beer had a much different flavor than when I bottle, one that could be described as sour when I don't clean my...

    GABF breweries to try

Societe is know for their IPAs. New Glarus is bringing stuff I've not tried before and try to get some Surly Furious.

    The perfect GABF

I personally think you can skip Wynkoop. Beers are not very memorable. Great Divide is around the corner and their beers are much better. And you can go to Biker Jims and get a great sausage. Try to get to Red Rocks one morning. If you're a music guy at all, it's really cool to stand down on...

    Gabf 2015

I don't think Jester King is going to be there. They're not listed on the app anyway. Prairie Artisan? Where are they from? I'm not familiar with them. I'm skipping the Colorado breweries since I live here and can visit them anytime.

    Gabf 2015

So has anyone started looking at the list of breweries to put together a must visit list? Just curious who everyone is excited about? I'm for sure hitting Wicked Weed, Rare Barrel, Faction, and Societe to name a few.

    Home Theater Help

No disrespect taken because we're all different in what we're looking for right? We're not a huge movie watching house. We don't watch action movies so hearing a helicopter fly overhead doesn't excite me. It's not about having a theater sound experience in my living room. I'll go to a...

    Home Theater Help

Thanks for all of the replies. To clarify what I meant by big ass black box, it's literally any AVR that is a big ass black box whether 7" tall or 13" tall. I'm going to go stereo because I don't want surround sound. I don't like it. I don't want speakers mounted everywhere in my room. I'm...

    Home Theater Help

We're moving into a new build home the end of this year and I have some serious home theater purchasing to do. I've had crap HTIB systems for way too long and with the new house comes new gear. I have a 60" Vizio tv that will be going with us. Here's the key wants: First and foremost...

    Gabf 2015

This will be my first time. Heading to the Saturday afternoon session. Only took three years living in Denver to get to the festival. Can't wait.

Need Suggestions for Green Bay and Madison

Thanks for the suggestions. I actually have tickets for the Packer Broncos game here in Denver in November. It looks like Monroe is about 25 min south of New Glarus so that's doable. It just depends on what time we get out of Green a at Sunday.

Need Suggestions for Green Bay and Madison

I'm heading to Green Bay and then Madison late August for some family stuff and must make a few stops for beer along the way. I'm heading to New Glarus but I'm looking for other suggestions in those two areas if you have them. Thanks!

I like this time at night on HBT

First time I've posted in this thread. Quiet night here in Castle Rock Colorado. Brewing a batch outside on a burner for the first time. Great night.

    A Little Rain Doesn't Hurt..,

Yeah that's not a bad idea. Next time I'll setup the burner a little closer to the garage door so the rain is mostly blocked. Oh well, this will probably be my best beer ever.

    A Little Rain Doesn't Hurt..,

Right? 20 min in to my boil right now in my driveway and a rain shower is going overhead. I guess I'll throw the lid on a bit and see what happens? Gotta love Colorado weather...
