    All Brett starter

I KNOW not all Brett produces the cherry pie flavor; I didn't ask about that. It seems to me the main problem with forums are getting everything but the answer to the question of the thread.

    All Brett starter

I should mention my cell count is based on this reply from WYeast: Quote: 6.25.2012 For the Brett strains, the count is 75 billion viable cells total / pack. For the 5335 and 5733, the count is approximately 20 billion cells total/pack. The counts on the 3763 are proprietary. Please let me...

    All Brett starter

Thanks, I have that. What I'm looking for is an equation/equations to ramp up wild packs of Brett (75mil) to lager quantities. I have been gadget brewing 8 years, so I have the equipment. I have made a few sour ales. This will be my first Brett ale; I do not have a taste for horse sweet. The all...

I contacted WYeast concerning the yeast count in their "wild" packs, this is the reply I received. I plan on stepping some Brett up to a lager rate as per Chad's recommendations soon. I emailed Chad concerning this and a few other questions concerning all Brett fermentations; he stated is is...

    Bewery brown sediment removal?

Too get back to the question asked; I'm looking for a cleaner to do most/all of the cleaning for me. Scrubbing the kettle is easy enough with a green scrubby; it's abrasive enough without the need for additional abrasive cleansers. I do not want to take every piece of equipment apart to clean...

    Bewery brown sediment removal?

I'm aware of the mechanics of CIP, thanks. I'm looking for a cleaner which will break down or dissolve the residue/sediment and allow it to be rinsed away, without the need for water abrasion; high pressure.

    Bewery brown sediment removal?

Is their a non-scrubbing cleaner, which removes the brown sediment (protein?) that builds up in the inside of brewing equipment; false bottom, fittings, hoses and etc..? PBW and Oxyclean at 160 degrees and recirculated does NOT remove it, for me. Letting the equipment sit in contact with the...
