[Version 2 Release] RaspberryPints - Digital Taplist Solution

I am curious how the RFID works and users. If I had an RFID device hooked up and some RFID cards assigned to users, how does the relationship and UI work with users? Does the pour ask which user is making the pour?

[Version 2 Release] RaspberryPints - Digital Taplist Solution

I'll be honest, once I used the automated install script, it did everything :) The only sticky part was the Uno pin assignment for the meters.

[Version 2 Release] RaspberryPints - Digital Taplist Solution

Worked super slick!! No issues :) Just curious where I can find (I have looked through this long thread) on how you assign flowmeters to Arduino Uno R3 pins.

[Version 2 Release] RaspberryPints - Digital Taplist Solution

So I am going through the isntall steps w/flow meters and am at the LAMP stack install (Step 4: Package Installation W/Flow Meters - RaspberryPints) pi@raspberrypi:~ $ sudo apt-get -y install apache2 php5 mysql-client mysql-server php5-mysql phpmyadmin Reading package lists... Done Building...

[Version 2 Release] RaspberryPints - Digital Taplist Solution

Sorry, last question I hope :) Can I use the same GPIO pins in that illustration for my power and ground as well?

[Version 2 Release] RaspberryPints - Digital Taplist Solution

Following the directions in that link I still use pin #4 for the sensor data or the installer will assist with the pin assignment?

[Version 2 Release] RaspberryPints - Digital Taplist Solution

I am just finishing the case build and was curious if you need to run the 'The Raspberry Pi Temperature Sensor Code' as well or will RasberryPints assist with the configuration?

Fermentrack: Fermentation monitoring & BrewPi-www Replacement for Raspberry Pi

So I just ran the update from the ui and now the web front end is all screwed up. Is there a way to force it to update again (from GitHub)? I can get to the dashboard, but it looks like this:

This is in a current release now?

[Version 2 Release] RaspberryPints - Digital Taplist Solution

@RandR+ how hard would it be to create the ability to enter ‘manual’ pours? I find myself frequently filling a mini keg for my neighbor (1.75 G) and I want to pressure transfer directly from a keg that is in use. I record my tare weights of my kegs and could easily calculate how much I take out...

    Perlic 630 VS intertap?

I’m using 600 series Perlick FC faucets. Do you know if I can add Intertap springs to them? I found a couple sites that say no, but they also say they ONLY work with Intertap faucets.

Fermentrack: Fermentation monitoring & BrewPi-www Replacement for Raspberry Pi

First question: What is the ‘estimator’? Is that the PID K values? This question relates to both the heating and cooling upper limits.

Fermentrack: Fermentation monitoring & BrewPi-www Replacement for Raspberry Pi

Thank for the link, which I already reviewed. What I am asking is not PID specific. What I am asking is SPECIFICALLY about the Constants in Fermentrack (one listed in my last post). I was looking for more in depth documentation. Should I just list specific questions? I didn’t want to bog...

Fermentrack: Fermentation monitoring & BrewPi-www Replacement for Raspberry Pi

I’m sorry, but I have to disagree with the statement, ‘It’s not a controller issue, or a question about Fermentrack.’ Unless you’re saying my Inkbird controller had an updating algorithm (PID K values), which Fermentrack DOES have that ability. I didn’t want my question to get so granular...

Fermentrack: Fermentation monitoring & BrewPi-www Replacement for Raspberry Pi

So where this is going is, I currently use Inkbirds to control my fermenters. It’s very common that I may be cold crashing at ~34 and fermenting ~64. I use a glycol chiller, which I know is not 100% supported. With that said, I can’t keep my chiller temp differential close on the fermentation...

Fermentrack: Fermentation monitoring & BrewPi-www Replacement for Raspberry Pi

I had a PM out to @Thorrak on this exact question :) but this would be beneficial for all potentially. These are my more exact questions or assumptions. I see things in the settings talking about the 'estimator' and values updating the algorithm. I understand this isn't some ML tool, but I...

    Glycol chiller reviews

I’ll clarify what I was asking 😊 I do set the chiller at 27-28, which will get me down to the temps I need. It’s the (~64) fermentation that overshoots. 1/3 Penguin chiller in use.

    Glycol chiller reviews

How do you handle cold crashing one fermenter (~32) and fermentation (~64) at the same time? I typically run 2-3 fermenters at the same time.
