I use a few of these in-line regulators and they work pretty well. The one issue I had is that the barbs that come with them are small, 3/16" and will not fit a 5/16"ID gas line.

I have used vacume sealed and cold store hops that are 5 years old without issue. As others have said bittering will be diminish. I use the hop storage calculator in beersmith.

A question regarding the creamer, if I mount this faucet on the door of a fridge will the tap handle hit the door if I try to use the creamer?
