    Duvel clone kit from Northern Brewer (They don't call it that - it's "Belgian Strong Golden Ale." Went well. With the sugar it's supposed to have OG of 1.081 - I got 1.079. 2 hour after pitching (at 65F), those 2 packs of BE-256 - it's active in sight glass already and a few bubbles in blow-off...

    Is it just me or are bottled conditioned Homebrew better than kegged?

    +1 on that. I keg, force carbonate in keg, then sometimes bottle from that. Insert that elusive patience factor and some of those bottled ones have improved with age.

    So, If I could make 10 gallon batches instead of 5, I would have more beer - GOOD! But then I would have fewer brew days - BAD! THOUGHTS?

    3 dead induction cookers. Now what?

    I've used this 3500W induction plate for 50+ batches for 2 years - no problems. I usually boil about 7.5 g down to 5.5 or 6 gallons.     Dry hopping in conical without clogging

    Cold crash. Dump. Wait a few days. Repeat. You will end up losing more beer from your batch as posted above. But can get nice clear beer, no clogs this way.

    CFC chilling in a single gravity fed pass straight to fermenter?

    Just posting to show my gravity setup - I have a plate chiller (Therminator) not a CFC. I tried a pump once, instead of having my BK up on the box, and that was the only time it clogged. I usually have about 6g of wort and I've never timed it but just takes a few minutes. Temperature limitation...
