    Boilermaker Brewing Co

I don't feel comfortable explaining Coy's extenuating circumstances on an open forum, but I assure you that - if it were truly that easy - you would have your logo already. He still has all of his & his family's things packed up, but is sorting through what he can. I believe he'll be returning...

    Boilermaker Brewing Co

Coy is still unavailable and he has your file for this particular logo - so, regretfully, there's nothing I can do until he returns. There are 4 logos that were kinda left in "limbo", this one - as far as I remember - was pretty near completion and I don't have the working file to finish it up...

    New Logos by BrewBrandCreative

Should be any day now - he doesn't have access to email/pms anything business -related. I know he was working on yours before he shut down, but he wasn't able to send me the files so I could finish it up. There are 3 jobs that kinda fell into limbo and yours was one of them. If you want to...

Thanks ubermick! As a full-time freelance illustrator/designer, I'm always in need of a client - so...you know...just throwing that out there... :D I do non-brew illustration when I'm not working on BBC logos...the background research just isn't as fun.

    New Logos by BrewBrandCreative

We haven't been on much this month - Coy's unavailable/moving to a different timezone and I'm completely buried...BUT slowly making it out from under the pile. Here are a few things we've done over the past few weeks (Blitzkrieg Brewery & the Apestar are still in progress)

    Boilermaker Brewing Co

Hey everyone - sorry we haven't been around. As mentioned, Coy's moving his family basically across the country and I've been trying to manage the workload. If you need to get a hold of someone, you can either PM me here or email at josh (at) brewbrandcreative.com. Or you can send a message...

How to dolphin-proof my bird table?

Obviously, you need to dig a large hole and bury the table. THEN, you leave bird-sized shovels laying around. The dolphins will never think to bring shovels, and the bird-sized shovel will do them no good. The birds, in turn (tern), CAN retrieve the food and learn a life lesson (all good things...

    I got my Brewer's Notice!

Congratulations! I love that area - my wife is from VT and has a lot of family spread throughout NE. Next time we up that far I'll definitely look up some brew!!

Welcome to HBT - always good to see another IL homebrewer (native or otherwise!) :mug:

    Spruce cuttings

Hey - so I looked all over and couldn't find this anywhere. Is there an approximate "fresh spruce to extract" conversion? I wanted to try Charlie P's Bruce & Kay honey spruce recipe, but I want to use spruce tips, instead of the extract. He calls for 1 oz. of extract - any suggestion as to how...

    Screen-printing bottles

I remember in school, there was a guy in one of my printmaking classes that screen printed some baseball bats. If I'm remembering right, he made a slightly "looser" screen (it was still fairly taut, but it had a little more give than normal) It was also fairly tall/narrow - that's the only...

    My first couple beer labels

that baby skull one is hilarious - the first tshirt design I ever sold to an apparel company was of conjoined babies with a zipper down the middle, holding a skull rattle and some type that said "Divide and Conquer"...my wife was appalled...but its nice to see someone else shares my humor. haha...

    Planning on going Pro!

a half dozen labeled, empty bottles sitting on a table is, in my opinion, great brand-building for the consumer. Kegged beer puts a lot of trust in bar staff to promote your beer over the established, better sellers. And - if it does sell (and I hope it does!) - will people remember the...

I need help with my logo

definitely agree about the stroke. Not so sure about not using all caps, though. In instances when you are bending text, having the same letter height helps to create a sort of consistent block/shape around the graphic. I think mixed cases looks a little haphazard when it's just floating...

    Brewery Name

Dinky Dog Brewing...I like it! A tiny dog wearing a bottle cap hat and some "drunk bubbles" would be pretty cool for a logo...kinda like a dinky dog equivalent of a lampshade!

I need help with my logo

I was just going to suggest using the multiply blend on that layer. That'll eliminate the "cut and paste" look of the white behind the skull and make the label feel more cohesive - like it was all created at the same time. I really like coy's font suggestion, too (I might be a bit partial since...
