    Blichmann Fermenator Revelation

It certainly seems like it. Why go through the trouble (expense) of a conical to try something like this? Makes no sense. On the other hand, sounds like a great way to introduce unwanted oxygen a beer.

Anyone have a good Ginger beer recipe

Yes. I'll try to post it later tonight.

Anyone have a good Ginger beer recipe

I do have a good non-alcoholic ginger beer soda recipe. It was kegged and force carbonated and didn't use any yeast. Similar to Reed's, but I haven't quite cloned it. I occasionally make a small keg of it to have something different to drink.

Anyone have a good Ginger beer recipe

Maybe a spiced ale or spiced beer? I don't know for sure, but I think of "Ginger Beer" as a strongly flavored/spicey ginger ale type soda. Something like Reed's Extra Ginger Beer. http://reedsinc.com/product/reeds-extra-ginger-brew/ Now if it's a hard ginger ale recipe (only ginger, water...

Anyone have a good Ginger beer recipe

Are you looking for a fermented alcoholic drink or a strong (non-alcoholic) ginger ale type soft drink/soda?

How much hops and grain do you have on hand?

Started buying 4-5 sacks about every 6 months. Last buy just came through (missing my 2-row), bringing me back up to around 300 lbs. 165 lb Barke Pils 55 lb Munich 80 ish lbs assorted base grains and specialty grains. Usually order hops by the lb, but probably only have 2 lbs in the freezer...

    Beer Advent calendar 2018

Couple of non-blurry pictures. I'll try to get some blurry pics of tonight's selection.

    Beer gun foam hell

Longer line (10 ft isn't enough). Also, try a hose clamp where the line attaches to the beergun.

    3/16 ID Barbed Swivel Nut

Just use 1/4" like everyone is suggesting. It sucks to get it on the barb, but it's not meant to be put on and taken off regularly. When it does come time to take the hose off the barb, just cut off the last inch of the tubing with a razor knife, make a vertical cut up the barb, and remove it...

Texas Selling All Beer Making Equipment

He's probably leaving Texas because of the bland "BBQ" in TX (BBQ in quotes because they call beef BBQ there). They have all that other stuff in TX.

    Questions about big stout

Please explain this in more detail. You said keep them separated? Do you mean split the yeast cake between 2 fermenters?

Brand New! How do I start?

Agreed. I'd strongly consider a 10 gallon kettle, but get at least 8.

    Oktoberfest Ale Recipe Needed

It's not going to be an exact fit on the style. I think you can use Marzen (6A) and it should be close.

    Oktoberfest Ale Recipe Needed

This is correct. This recipe is great as it's written. It's also really good as a lager if you ever do any lagering down the road. I have 2 kegs of it lagering right now (wlp833).

    Festbier BierMuncher's OktoberFAST Ale (AG)

Just kegged 10 gallons of this for a month of lagering. Used 833 this year.

    Modelo Negra clone

Have you tried making any of the light colored Mexican lagers? I was thinking about doing something like the Especial Modelo. Maybe all pilsner with a couple lbs of corn with the same yeast (940) and hops.
