What kind of kegs does everyone recommend here? I want to get to kegging as soon as I can. I am currently looking for a 5L or 10L kegs. Under what catagory on Yahoo auctions do you normally look? Would love to get a few on the cheap.

Just went to Craft Beer Market. Well worth you time. 20 beers on tap, all Japan crafts. Cheaper than anywhere else I have been and good food too. Only 10 minute walk from my office so that is a huge bonus. Will be at good beer faucets tomorrow night though stop by and say hello.

Just brewed my fourth brew, a nice looking English IPA. Its a More Beer extract kit. Looks great and smells great. In a week I will put in the oak chips. Waiting to try my porter I have been bottle conditioning. It will be ready next week.

Okay I have to admit I love watching my airlock bubble away. I have a porter that has been bubbling for four days now. Just so enjoyable watching it go. Thinking of opening a beer and pulling up a chair.

Haven't been married that long have you? You have to line up friends that will cover for you. Example: honey look what Jim gave me! He doesn't need a small freezer/fridge and wanted to get rid of it. I told him I would give him 12 bottles of beer for it. This will let her see that your brewing...

While this is my first brew. I wrapped a heated blanket for a twin bed around it then put a spare sleeping bag around that. I bought a digital thermometer for 700 yen that has an external probe that I taped to the bottom of the ferm so the blanket wouldn't give it false readings. Seems to work...

I spoke to Nikobrew today. They ship to Japan no problem and try to give as much a discount on shipping as possible. They have a great selection of hops IMHO. I will be using them in the future.

I made my chiller last week. Came out great. Very easy to do if you have a form to bend around. Only the tube ends were a bit tough to bend. I used the tube bender and that made it very easy though.
