    CO2 Won't Shut Off?

Is the co2 valve handle stripped out, so that it is not actually turning the tank valve? Also, will your regulator turn up higher then your normal serving pressure? If not, you might have a check valve stuck open allowing gas to flow backwards from the keg into the regulator. Also, if...

    CO2 tanks worth it????

Unless that's a really odd sized tank or skewed picture, I am going with that being a 35lb tank.

Is cash King on Craigslist? Or do you hold it?

Most of the people I have purchased from on craigslist have been good about sticking to appointments, but I usually try to set them the same day or as soon as they are available. Although there have been a few times I have set an appointment, called to let them know I was heading their direction...

    STC-1000 Housing/Self Contained

Here is my portable unit, including having a plug on the temperature probe. I just used an 1/8" jack and it seems to work quite well.

Bars, Pubs & Taverns you don’t want to lose

Anymore, my favorite place to go is Lefty's Lobster and Chowder House in Addison(north Dallas area). The beer selection isn't all that, but the mixed drinks are strong, the food is absolutely delicious and everyone at the bar usually knows each other. There used to be another place we hung out...

Is my regulator and tank valve broken?

Everything in those pictures looks ok to me. What appears to be a blockage in your regulator input, is probably just a screen to keep any junk in the tank out of the regulator. You will have to refill the tank and take either some starsan or soapy water in a spray bottle and start testing for leaks.

    Need some HBT advice

I would definitely have him look into all the legalities of this, as I am assuming they will be crossing state lines, and probably holding the convention in hotel ball rooms, convention centers, etc that may have their own license's to serve alcohol. I believe that some states have a general...

    Nitro with co2 regulator...

While that should work, you would be wise to check the max working pressure on your regulator.

    In Search of a Scale

Check out Harbor Freight, they have some decent, cheap scales and you can usually find a 20% off coupon. I have a couple of the 11lb scales they sell, and they work fairly well, my only complaint is the auto off feature is just a little short sometimes.

Ordering Grain Online by the Fraction of a Pound

You might check out homebrewhq.com, as I believe you can order any quantity you want from them. They are the lhbs I normally go to, so I haven't tried an online order from them yet.

What's a good asking price for this mash tun??

I have seen similar setups on craigslist anywhere from $50-$100, granted they have probably seen more then one use.

    Cleaning heavily soiled brewing equipment

Here's another vote for some hot water and oxyclean, let is soak for a day or so and wipe any remaining residue, then rinse really well. If you still have residual material, soak again with fresh oxyclean.

    What do you ride??

83 Honda Nighthawk 650, she may not be pretty, but she will scoot right along.

    Your home bar

In my cabinet currently sits: Bourbon - Knob Creek Vodka - Svedka (cheap and makes for a great mixer) Rums - Bacardi Select, Appleton Estate, Captain Morgan Spiced Tequila - 1800 Silver, Don Eduardo Silver Gin - Tanqueray (G&T's are tasty, but never result in a good morning for me) E&J XO...

    Grain Mills - Your opinion?

Here's another vote for the JSP maltmill, I have one with the hardened, adjustable rollers and the belt drive kit and am quite happy with it. I picked it up used off of craigslist with mess of gear, and if I ever need to replace it (highly doubtful) it will be with another maltmill.

    STC-1000 Temperature Controller in Fahrenheit

Great to hear that you got the order placed, as I am looking forward to getting one. Did you end up with 15 amp relays, or the normal 10a relays? Also, what happened to the previous thread with the poll?

    old beer

I have wondered the same think, as I have a couple of kegs I picked up from a former home brewer that are dated around 2006, one is a stout I think and the other is blueberry mead, both still under pressure, and several others that have lost their pressure. I believe they have been stored in a...

SmartKegerator - Automatic pour-logger using facial recognition

Seems to me that this could work well for people with underage kids if the system can be setup to only work for authorized people. Might also work if you could input pictures of people that are off limits, or just provide photos of those who have pulled the tap. Ignore this comment if already...
