    So should I not add the willamette and goldings? And I believe I can run to my LHBS and get some different grains. Should I opt for a lighter DME instead of the gold malt syrup?

    Yeah I did try and aerated quite well! Thanks for the reassurance guys! And yeah I did just pitch the dry yeast on top. I'll try rehydrating the yeast on my next batch!

    Is this amount of foam normal before pitching yeast? Should I pitch it right on top of the foam or wait for it to go down? This is my first brew BTW. Thanks for any help!
