    Starting a little more advanced

Well can't I make 1 gallon batches in slightly better systems without spending tons? Just looking for some examples. Like I know what you mean about figuring it out as you go, but at the same time I don't want to buy buckets and stuff that I will upgrade after a week. And I don't want to screw...

Definitely see what your sayin'. If I wanted to go fully custom nano one day, which would you start with?

You nailed it!!! I don't mean to be so vague, but its hard to say exactly what I'm looking for b/c I'm looking for recommendations based on your experiences. I've never brewed before and I'm not looking to waste commodities by screwing up huge batches, but at the same time I'm not afraid...

Maybe it would be better to ask what the sweetest setup for sub $500 would be.

Well lets just say as efficient as possible, but small. I want a setup that is more sophisticated than a starter kit, but not as big and expensive as a brew master by sabco. I know it's still a big range, but just looking for suggestions if you were to start now.

    Starting a little more advanced

Just starting out, but I want to build a system that I can grow with. Maybe start a nano brewery down the road. I'm sure not everything will be transferable to a nano, but I'd rather spend $500 now, then throw $200 of startup kit stuff out. What brewing and kegging systems/setups would...

Ya.... reviews I read about that one from home depot say that it doesnt actually fit a 1/2 barrel. You wouldnt happen to know the approximate cu ft or dimensions that are required to fit one in a fridge would you? Because id like to just find the smallest that will work. Thanks.

    The Perfect Custom College Kegerator

Good idea! Thanks. If anyone knows some cheap models that fit CO2 and 1/2 barrel, let me know. Or if anyone has ever heard of making a refrigerator. Thanks again! EDIT: I cant find any regular compact refrigerators that will hold a 1/2 barrel.....? Will it only work with a stand up fridge?

I know a lot of people suggest Craigslist, and im sure its the cheapest route, but could you tell me the cheapest new fridge that will hold a full size commercial keg (I think its called 1/2 barrel) and CO2? Thanks!!!! :mug:

    The Perfect Custom College Kegerator

So I have a few questions about building the perfect college kegerator.... Requirements: 1) Cheap as possible (us college students have no money, just beer savings) 2) Holds a full size keg (again, for college) 3) Holds a 5lb. CO2 tank (most use this size right?) So basically...
