    Store hombrew kit?

Put it in an air-tight container if you can -- even if the grain comes in a sealed bag. Your crushed grains can last like this for months if you keep them dry, away from the air and in a cool place... you'll be fine by Sunday.

Cream Ale Cream of Three Crops (Cream Ale)

I just got my ingredients to brew this recipe from AHS. I've been wanting to try this one -- can't wait!

    Ideas for fall beers?

Pumpkin ale. A broader scope of people might enjoy a pumpkin ale rather than the porter -- Although both sound great right now! Brewing a batch of pumpkin ale in a few weeks myself.

    Wedding Label

Cool. Universal is good. Good idea to put another label on the back. You could also include the ABV% on the back label, because I'm sure people will be asking.

    Nicely done!

    Wedding Label

Dude! Good job. The label looks great, no copy errors and I like the layout. Only thing I could think to tweak would be to put your names on it to personalize it (maybe under the 2011). Plus, there are a ton of people out there that don't realize beer can be made at home and they may not make...

    Hello from Tyler, Texas

Hey all, I've been brewing since October of last year and this forum has been a huge help. I've got some extract batches under my belt and recently went to all-grain after a bunch of books, Brew Strong podcasts and a lot of research on HBT. I love this hobby and I can't believe I didn't start...
  9. My first attempt at packaging. I love these four-pack carriers too. I designed the label in photoshop and went with a classic car theme. This was a SNPA clone that turned out extremely close -- especially for my first AG batch!

    Immersion Chiller efficiency

With my immersion chiller, I can cool my 6 gallons of wort down to 70 degrees in 20 minutes because I run ice water through the IC. I use a cooler that has a water hose fitting to connect to the IC and I fill the cooler full of water and a LOT of ice. The water is just gravity-fed to the IC and...

    AHS Promo Apocalypso

That kit keeps getting cheaper and cheaper. I've been wanting to try it -- sounds good. Did you go with wlp001 or the greenbelt yeast? Let us know how it turns out.

first AG protein or sugar coagulation?

BrewBoy19, you are right! What looks like egg whites or egg drop soup is actually break material and it is totally normal. As an all-grain brewer, you will see more of that material than you would as an extract brewer. After chilling on your next brew, wait a little bit for stuff to settle in...
