is the heat sink that comes with SSR's on ebay okay to use with pumps or a keezer? I know you need a bigger one for heating elements.

wow, the PIDs are simple but the BCS has a ton more options. How hard is it to learn to program all the settings do you need plc/ladder logic experience or is it pretty easy to learn?

I have a single tier set up with 2 pumps and a copper heat exchanger in my HLT. I was thinking i would need a controller for the HLT, and MT at least. either way let me know what you think.

is it possible to convert from propane to electric with a panel and 2 controllers for 400.00 dollars. I don't need alot of bells and whistles to start with but would like to add them later...(lighted switches, etc..)

My pasta roller broke last night. got around 40 lbs through it. the rollers just started wobbling and the gap was tight at one end and big on the other. Definetly got my money out of it though. Thanks to this thread, it's time to move on to a new one.

I don't know if its related but I was having problems with mine pumping also. After talking to them the 1/2" QD connector actually has about a 3/8" opening and it causes the pump to lose prime and not pump. this could cause overheating possibly. I think theres several threads on using nipples...

yea, I was really worried i think i mashed at 184 but I took the temp in the hlt so by the time it went through the pump and into the MT it was probably lower. Since then I'm taking the reading in the MT and making sure I have full batteries in the multimeter. Like I said it isn't what I was...
