Any Lallemand Philly Sour feedback or experience to share?

I've done four 5 gal batches to date. All were good, but the only one I dry hopped was noticeably less sour on the palate. I don't have a way to test PH.

    First All Grain Batch!

IMHO I like the simplicity of Fermenticus Brew Log to start, and when you're ready to dig deeper Beer Smith is the go to.

What do you do with your spent grains?

I guess I'm lucky in this regard.. I live on a lake with noisy AF Canada geese. Depending on how many are around, 10-12 lbs of grain will be gone within the hour.

    Bung and Blow

Is it really crimped to the point that air won't pass through? Did you try it when wet? I ask because if is 3/8" tubing, that's how I do a blow off.

Garage Brewers - What do you do to control house and fruit flies?

An old sayin goes... Catch more flies with honey than vinegar.

Garage Brewers - What do you do to control house and fruit flies?

This past summer I was smoking a tenderloin and unbeknownst to me flies around my house LOVE the smell of apple wood. A description from brew365: CaraVienne is a pale to medium crystal-type malt produced by De Wolf-Cosyns Maltings malting in Belgium. Like other 'cara' style malts this variety...
