Been a long time since I had Hop Ranch. Might need to revisit that one. Had Founders Azacca IPA recently thought it was pretty decent.

Thinking of maybe doing Azacca/citra/Columbus in the kettle and then Azacca/citra/mosiac for the dry hop. Heard good things about these Azacca hops but they were way underwhelming by themselves. Have a pound to use up though.

My last batch was citra/galaxy/equinox. Tasted good and was a hit at a party. Some people say they get green pepper from it, I didn't detect it. I used equal hop amounts for all additions. Think I'll go Citra/Galaxy/Equinox. I'll report back with the results. Maybe if I catch the green pepper before dry hopping I'll leave the Equinox out of the dry hop.

Exactly. This beer I used 1272. I find that no matter what yeast I use I still get a hazy beer. I think it's mostly the hop oil and flaked ingredients that give the beer the haze. Regardless of the yeast I get very similar results. I do like the esters the English strains give the beer compared...

Here's a shot of mine. Pretty happy with how the beer turned out. I didn't have any Conan and didn't really care for a previous attempt at this kind of beer using the London 3 so I went with Wyeast 1098. Did equal amounts of Mosaic Galaxy and Citra for the hops. Awesome aroma on this thing...

Blackback Pub in Waterbury and Three Penny Taproom in Montepelier are two of my favorites. Drink as much Hill Farmstead as you can. The brewery is a little out of the way but worth the visit if you have time. Cheers!

I can understand why people might not like it. It's 90 percent dialogue. For me the dialogue is what I like most about QT flicks so I really dug the film. My only complaint is I feel it was a bit long which might discourage me for multiple viewings.
