I was drinking age not your fathers root beer yesterday, because I can't get my badge to work properly because my...

    Hard Root Beer recipe

I don't understand how some people don't have any separation problems. It blows my mind. I don't even know how "not your fathers root beer" is able to do it. It's really inconvenient to have to shake up something that's carbonated every time you want to drink it

    Lactose Question

So I am guessing it is easier to estimate your gravity by calculating it with the amount of fermentable sugar that's been added when you've been adding lactose? I wonder if there is an easier way to measure the gravity to account for amount of lactose used. Like, if you are going to add it in...

    Lactose Question

I've read people adding it to the wort pre-fermentation, so I added it to the wort, but I've noticed it messes with the gravity. Is there any reason why this is added early on? It's a non-fermentable sugar.

    Hard Root Beer recipe

I experienced a stall fermentation also. What helped me was agitating the used at the bottom. Just get along spoon or rod and stir up the used without adding oxygen. Do this about once a day over the course of a couple of days and it should agitate enough to finish fermentation. I've also been...
