Well, we were just out your way Wednesday evening- hit The Grove on the way back from a wine tasting at the brew shop. Very kind of you to offer! My better half is up for the trip and we may swing by Pocono Candle on the way home to spend more $$ that I really shouldn't lol I will keep...

Yeah- "ruin" was a bit much :p A bit trollish I guess... The more I thought about it though- the more it seemed like an unnecessary risk. Then I also began to wonder if it would lose mouth feel and become somewhat watery.

I almost learned this the hard way myself. After all the reading, video watching and thinking I was ready to attempt my first batch of home brew... I went with the air lock. Nice and mellow the first day, even part of the next- looked fine - a few hours later walked in to see an air lock full of...

I love how we are always looking at stuff with DIY in mind. Personally, I have busted my arse replacing these ( 6 liters anyway ) far too often to want to see one strapped to my brew rig- free or not! lol Even a "take off" is bound to have been run though, no? Points for the thought...
