I kind of thought the same, but as stated this was my second brew, ever. So I used the Brewers best kit, and that's what came with it... On the box it said it would be between 35-40 IBUs... I really love hops and stouts and IPAs so I'll be totally bummed if it doesn't have that nice bitter...

Thanks much! I'll remember this next time. It definitely DID boil over, I was just scared the hops I just added came out of the pot, during the boil over. You don't think that happened?
