The Great Halloween Costume Thread of 09 !

Nice Boomstick. I'll bet none of those primitive screwheads at the bar wanted to mess with you.

Yeah, I thought about getting hinges that allow the doors to lift off, cause it would be impossible to get the hinges/tracks that slide the doors into the cabinet. The doors open further than the previous pic, here's one with the bar section doors open all the way, like they were for the...

    Incognito bar build. The B'armoire.

Nope, the sacrificial kegerator was configured like that - I bought it off craigslist for $50(included a tower& 25# tank). I was originally going to just fix the rust and repaint, to end up with a 4-tap like this -, but it was almost completely rusted out on the bottom, and about 6" up the...

I built some plywood braces that run front to back behind the existing legs. They are tapered at the front so they are hidden, but they can still provide support. :mug:

No, but I wish I had thought of that. That would have been even cheaper. See here. You could cut to length, trim off part of the top lip, seal the bottom and ends, and rattle-can it. Hmmm. Cheapest drip tray ever?

Yep, I had a couple party guests write the board, and the ghost was the pale ale mascot. Here are the overall pictures . . . +10 points if you can identify the drip tray parts ;) The remote thermometer with the probe stuck to the wall inside the cooler.

Halloween party setup, still need the permanent lighting installed and 2 more beers brewed, (brewed a winter ale during the party(a la boulevard nutcracker) ) The first beer from each tap was 90% foam, from then on the pours were perfect. So far, I love the barmoire. This doesn't scream...
