so if I just take the connector off the pin lock on the keg, the beer wont come out of the line? I know if wont come out of the keg, but I am just thinking of the stuff in the line going tot he faucet

Hope there is a simple solution to this. Is it possible to detach a keg from the faucet if there is still beer in the line without spilling beer all over the place? I am sure its something simple and I am overlooking something.

This one is in the fermentor with using WYEAST 3463 as I couldnt get my hands on the 3944. Not sure of the SG because I did a few readings with my hydrometer and kept getting different numbers. The hydrometer was sticking to the sides of the theif, so I really don't know how well i did. Oh...

i have 3 5 1/8in shanks that I got in a kit from keg connection. I am looking to make a tower and need smaller shanks. I am trying to sell the shanks, but have also though about cutting them with a hacksaw or something to the size I need. Has anyone ever cut their shanks to a smaller size...

I don't believe so, they came with the kits from Keg Connection, but in the description it does not say. I would say they are not stainless though.

Yeah, check the shelves before I bought it, they are all removable. THere is no evap coil on the back so I would assume they are lining it somewhere. the evap tubes would create heat right?

not a chest, its an upright, but a small upright. I plugged it in earlier and felt around for where it got cold. Looks like its on right in the front where there are lines on the top, so i should be good to drill towards the middle/back

its possible, since they are swing top though, you could open them to relieve some pressure from time to time.

you actually don't need to put sugar in at all, unless you are set on natural carbing. You can just transfer your beer into the keg, set the co2 psi at serving temp and let it sit for a few weeks and it will carb correctly.
