    Beer and Cheese...

    I don't but I've threaten to take up making cheese to go along with my home brewing. SWMBO says no to cheese. Says brewing stinks enough as it is.

    Dishwasher to clean bottles

    I use real hot water and oxy clean free in the sink. Let them soak then scrub as needed. Rinse real well then let dry. I have switched to washing bottles every once in awhile as I collect them and put foil over top to keep clean. Then when it is bottle time just need to sanitize.

    A home brewed wheat. Under carbonated, trying to power through this batch. Hopefully I've fixed my carbonation issue. But just now getting to that batch to try. Had a Bud Light Platinum earlier... should not have even wasted by taste buds on it. And it was free. blahhhhhhh

    Removing labels

    Oxy clean free and really hot water in the sink. By the time the water is cool enough to touch bare skinned labels fall right off.

    What I did for beer today

    In addition to getting my kit for brewing tonight, I got a few misc. stuff that will hopefully help in improving my over all process. We'll see.

    Now having one of my tasty wheats that is nicely carbonated if not a tad over. Thank goodness I have read Revvy's great bottling post. Hopefully I have fixed my over / under carbonation issue.

    Small batch fermentation rate??

    Glad to be of some help. I like using my glass carboy for my small batches. Gives me access to see what's really going on that I normally don't see when I do a 5 gal batch.
