    Fermentation seems to be stopped!!

Marcos, give it some more time. Check your gravity again in 3-4 days. I'm a new brewer also. I leave my beer in the primary fermenter 3 weeks or more before I bottle. From my limited experience my beers ferment very vigourous for the first 2-3 days and the fermentation slows but the beer is...

    Brew software beat to death

Ok I know this subject has been beat to death. I'm new to brewing, did my first all grain last weekend. I used a free calculator from tastybrew.com Very simple and straight forward. So I wanted to try a more sophisticated software and got the free trial of beersmith 2.0, well it's just to...

You are the pro, tell me what to buy!

+1 on the extract kit to start off. It's the most foolproof way to start and make good beer. I don't know what you want to grow, I'm assuming hops, do a search for hop rhizomes. Do a lot of reading here on different subjects, a wealth of information here.

    Airlock Problems, Ruined?

OK, that sounds alright, you have some good krausen also good. You need to know what temp you are fermenting at. Also what temp did you pitch your yeast?

    ...where do you get bottles?

I've seen where some people have used twist off bottles and recapped. I would not suggest this. Try some Samuel Adams called Brewer's Choice comes in a 12 pack of amber bottles you can recap and it has 2 bottles of 6 different types of beer so you may find one or two you like and then make a...

    ...where do you get bottles?

I advertised on Craiglist that I was looking for Grolsch or swingtop bottles and picked up 125, 16 ouncers in great shape for $40. I also like Sam Adams beer (brewers choice) and just save those I've got plenty of bottles this way.

    Airlock Problems, Ruined?

Don't clean the krausen, just have patience at least 48 hours more to see what happens and do install a blow off tube as suggested. What temp is your fermentation?

How do I know my efficiency?

Did my first all grain yesterday BIAB. According to the recipe I was supposed to have an OG of 1.060, I hit 1.061, so I presume I did a good job. How does one calculate efficiency?

    3 gallon brew pot?

A full boil will give you a better brew, extract or partial mash. Check out the local thrift shops, sometimes you can get a great deal on a big brewpot.

How do you clean your BIAB bag?

Yes, I agree with you, it's going to boil again, keep it simple, we know how much cleaning and sanitizing we have to do in brewing so one less thing to worry about.
